By downloading, installing, or using Whisperto, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English. If you don't agree, please don't use the product.

1. What Whisperto does

Whisperto is a Mac application that captures your meeting audio, transcribes it, and provides live coaching cues + translation in a floating overlay. You install and run it on your own Mac. You're responsible for using it lawfully where you are.

2. Recording consent (important)

Wiretapping and recording laws vary by jurisdiction. In some places ("two-party consent" states like California, Florida, Illinois, plus most of the EU and UK under GDPR), you may be required to obtain consent from every meeting participant before recording or transcribing the conversation. You are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply to you. Whisperto provides the tool; you provide the consent.

3. Subscription and billing

Billing runs through LemonSqueezy. You purchase a Pro Monthly ($29) or Pro Annual ($290) subscription, plus optional one-time top-up minute packs.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your LemonSqueezy customer portal — your access continues until the end of the paid period.
Annual plans are refundable in full within the first 14 days, no questions asked. Email hello@whisperto.app to start a refund.
Top-up minute packs are one-time purchases. Once consumed they are non-refundable. Unused pack minutes never expire and stack across renewals.

4. What you can do

Use Whisperto for any lawful business or personal purpose (sales calls, interviews, lectures, language practice, etc.).
Run it on any Apple Silicon Mac you own.
Cancel any time.
Request a full refund inside the 14-day window on annual plans.

5. What you can't do

Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Whisperto app or your license key.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract Whisperto's signed binary.
Use Whisperto to commit fraud, harass, surveil non-consenting parties, or break any law.
Abuse Whisperto's worker infrastructure (excessive automated calls, attempted bypass of minute limits, etc.).

6. Cheating disclaimer

Whisperto is positioned as a sales and founder copilot. It is not intended for cheating on technical interviews, exams, or assessments where the assessor has not consented to AI assistance. If a third party prohibits AI assistance in their evaluation, using Whisperto there is a breach of their rules — that's on you, not on us.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't promise 100% uptime. The Mac app works offline for on-device Whisper transcription. Cloud features (Deepgram, LLM cues, translations, balance sync) depend on third-party services and your internet connection. Outages from Deepgram, OpenAI, Anthropic, LemonSqueezy, or Cloudflare may temporarily limit functionality.

8. Liability

Whisperto is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, NativeFirst (the company behind Whisperto) is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of revenue or business arising from your use of the product. Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim is the amount you paid Whisperto in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

If we change these terms materially, active subscribers receive an email with the diff. The "Last updated" date at the top is bumped on every change.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Disputes that can't be resolved by email go to the courts of Belgrade.
